Hola! This week is gonna be short because the internet is down in the chapel so Sister Lundin and I have to share a computer…
On Sunday, the Bishop told us that he got a phone call saying that we’re not supposed to use the chapel because of some liability issue…. so we split sacrament meeting between the Relief Society and Primary rooms and didn’t have classes after that. Who knew you’d need to make backup plans for church….
Which means that we’re supposed to combine with the Don Mills ward next week which is sliiiightly inconvenient since we’re supposed to have a baptism next week! We’ll see what happens 😛
So I was called to speak English, but in Toronto you’ve gotta speak ESL haha. I didn’t realize that some people have a really hard time understanding people who speak English as a second language. Sister Lundin is picking up on it slowly haha. Gift of interpretation of tongues? But again, I really love teaching English class. It’s fun 🙂 We also found 3 new investigators from it this week, and one of them has a baptismal date!
Well, all is well here. Sister Lundin is a super star. We’re finding new people to teach like crazy and it’s keeping us very busy!
