  1. Hi Brooklyn,

I’m excited to be able to follow your mission through your blog and enjoyed the posts made today. I regret that I was not home for your going away. I heard about your decision to put your papers in when your dad bore his testimony before we left for the winter. The Lord truly has chosen the best for last and it is so amazing to see the answers to those calls as he hastens the work. I know you will be an exceptional missionary and pray for your continued success. I don’t have any advice to give you other than to listen to the spirit, ‘our best teacher’ and as you put it ‘keep on keepin on’.

We are here in Arizona until the middle of April so I have missed Elder Dronyk’s farewell also as well as sister Judd’s return. But the flip side is that I have heard many from the very large ward that I attend here. There are currently eleven serving from our ward plus one couple. We have a new temple here in Gilbert (our next door neighbour) being dedicated this Sunday. It is the first large temple that has been built in I think I heard 17? Years. It is very very beautiful, but I enjoyed the Calgary Temple Open House more as it was not as hurried and there was a lot more instruction given as you went through. I am excited to be able to start going there though. I’m sure it will be very busy as I heard our Mesa temple will be closing for renovations. It is about the same age as the Cardston temple but much larger.

Keep up the good work Brooklyn and God Bless you!
    Hugs, sister Bonnie Borggard
